About

Ally is a photographer and designer based in Northeastern Pennsylvania, originally from the lake region of Northern New Jersey. Her love for both nature and architecture began early and continues to shape the way she experiences the world. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Marywood University, spending a semester in Florence, Italy, where she discovered new perspectives and inspiration. Today, she works as an Architectural Designer & Photographer for Alloy5 Architecture while pursuing licensure as an architect.

Based in Scranton, PA, her business Ally Kelly Photo specializes in architectural, interiors & landscape photography with a creative and intentional approach. With a designer’s eye for space, light, and detail, Ally captures the beauty of the built environment and the world around us, transforming moments and places into compelling visual stories.

Ally’s work has been recognized both locally and nationally. She is a two-time First Place People’s Choice winner in the PPFF Photo Contest (2024 & 2025), and her photos and articles have been featured on uswindsurfing.com. She has also been honored with a Congressional Certificate of Congratulations, and in April 2024 her work was shown in a group exhibition at the Pennsylvania State Capitol’s East Wing Rotunda. Ally is grateful for the opportunities to share her work and connect with the community through art and architecture.
